How to score Rummy
In classic Rummy the player who goes out scores the value of the cards left in the other players’ hands: face cards 10 points, Aces 1 point and number cards their face value. In Gin Rummy the knocker scores the difference between the two deadwood counts, with a bonus for going gin; in 500 Rum each player scores the cards they have melded and subtracts the cards left in their hand, so scores can go negative. Add a row for every hand and play to the target your group uses, such as 100 for Gin Rummy or 500 for 500 Rum.
