How to score Canasta

Canasta is often played by two partnerships; enter each team as one player. At the end of a hand each side scores its bonuses: 500 for every natural canasta, 300 for every mixed canasta, 100 for each red three (800 for all four) and 100 for going out (200 for going out concealed). Add the value of all melded cards: Jokers 50, Aces and twos 20, Kings to eights 10, sevens to fours and black threes 5. Subtract the value of the cards still in hand. Add a row for every hand; the first side to reach 5,000 points wins.
