How to score Root
Root is a race to 30 victory points. Each faction scores in its own way, for example by building, crafting, ruling clearings or completing quests, so keep a running total for every player as points are earned. Instead of chasing points, a player can play a dominance card and win by meeting its condition at the start of their turn. Record the winner and whether they won on points or by dominance. The base game is for 2 to 4 players; the Riverfolk expansion adds up to 6.
