How to score French Tarot
In French Tarot the taker needs 56 card points with no oudler, 51 with one, 41 with two and 36 with three. The hand is worth 25 plus the difference from that target, plus 10 for the petit au bout, times the bid (petite 1, garde 2, garde sans le chien 4, garde contre le chien 6), and then the poignée (20, 30 or 40) and any chelem are added. With four players the taker wins or loses that amount against each of the three defenders, so the taker’s score is three times it and the hand adds up to zero. Add a round for each hand and type each player’s score, minus included. The highest total when you stop wins.
