How to score Arboretum
At the end of Arboretum each species is checked first: the player with the highest sum of that species in hand may score one path of it (tied players all may, and if no one holds the species, everyone may); an 8 counts as 0 if an opponent holds the 1 of that species. A path runs from a card to a card of the same species through cards of rising value. It scores 1 point per card, 1 more per card if it has at least 4 cards all of that species, 1 more if it starts with a 1 and 2 more if it ends with an 8. Type each path you score in its own row. The most points wins; a tie goes to the player with the most species in their arboretum.
