How to score Lost Cities
In Lost Cities each expedition you started is scored on its own: add up its cards, subtract 20 for the cost of the expedition, then multiply the result by 2, 3 or 4 if you played one, two or three wager cards on it. An expedition with eight or more cards earns a 20-point bonus after the multiplication. Expeditions you never started score nothing. Add your expeditions together for the round score, which can be negative. The usual match is three rounds, and the highest total wins.
