How to score Calico
Calico is scored once every quilt board is full. Each design goal tile scores its lower number (the blue circle) when the six patches around it meet its goal in colour or in pattern, and its higher number (the yellow circle) when they meet it in both: enter the points of each of your three goals. Add the points of the cats you attracted, as shown on each cat’s scoring tile, and enter how many buttons you have, rainbow buttons included, 3 points each. The highest total wins; a tie goes to the player with the most cats, then the most buttons, and players still tied share the victory.
